Yaounde, June 17th -- Maya Initiatives and RENATA joined forces to host a Clothesline Project for the second time this year. The participants, all women, were asked to decorate either a handkerchief or a T-shirt with either words or images in a way that reflected their own personal experiences with sexual/domestic violence or a message that they wished to share with the community about the subject.
Below are a few images from the workshop:

This project is a great chance for young women to reflect and respond proactively for the betterment of their community. |
June 17th was also the last day for our 5 month interns. Thanks for all the hard work, girls! |
